India Medical Treatment – Apply for Online Appointment

All patients coming to India for Medical treatment should apply for Medical Letter.

There are two categories for Indian Medical Treatment Letters,

  • Regular Medical Letter

  • eMedical Letter (online)

 

Documents required for Indian Medical Treatment,

  • Passport with minimum 6 months validity and 2 blank pages.

  • Recent Passport size photographs

  • Proof of residential address /National ID
  • Latest Medical Reports from treating Doctor or Hospital.

  • Passport copy of the attendant (for the medical attendant treatment, Maximum 2)

  • Medical Invitation letter from reputed Hospital in India is compulsory and same letter should be also sent to local Indian Embassy. (Apply here for letter)

Indian Medical Attendant Treatment Letter

Attendants traveling with patient should apply for Medical Attendant Letter. Maximum two can apply for Medical Attendant Letter.  Attendants need to apply for a separate Letter and will have to go through the same process of Letter application as that of the main applicant.

 

Indian Medical Letter Processing Time

Indian medical Letter gets processed between 48 hrs to 96 hrs. If it’s urgent medical Letter application, you may receive approval on same day.

Steps for getting Indian Medical Letter

Following are steps required to apply for a medical Letter to India:

  1. Fill Online Letter application form.

  2. Print copy of the application after providing all required details

  3. Collect all the documents listed above.

  4. Visit the nearby India embassy in his/her country with appointment

  5. Submit application form along with the documents

  6. Once the Letter is approved you will receive SMS or Email. Plan your travel dates accordingly.
