Dr. Cihan Sahin has 15 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery, he was born born in 1979 in Eskişehir, Turkey. He graduated from Gulhane Military Medical Faculty in 2003 and  for residency studies he went GATA Haydarpasa Training Hospital, and completed Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic and Burn Center specialty in 2011. 

During his residency, he took part in a number of scientific investigations. In the same year, he was given two second awards in the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Association’s expert and assistant research contests. Dr. Cihan Sahin and Dr. Özge ERGÜN developed a new surgical approach in the field of hand surgery, which was granted first place at the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Association Meeting in 2013 and has since been presented at numerous gatherings across the world. In 2013, and 2015, he was recognized three times by the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Association Meetings. 

The Turkish Board of Plastic Surgery has certified him. In 2017, Dr. Cihan Sahin was promoted to associate professor. He has 52 international publications, 37 international conference reports, and 102 national conference reports to his credit. He is a member of the Turkish Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, the Turkish Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and the Emergency Hand Care and Microsurgery Society. He serves as a consultant for Archives of Clinical and Experimental Surgery. Since May 2018, he practices in his private clinic in Istanbul.
