Dr. Ege Ozgentas

Dr. Ege Ozgentas, popular plastic surgeon of Istanbul of 40 years of experience. He was born in Turkey in 1951. In 1975, He completed his medical degree graduation from Hacettepe University Medical School. He became a board certified Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon in 1981 after finishing his residency at Hacettepe University Medical School’s Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Ege worked mostly as a reconstructive surgeon in military and public institutions. In 1985, he was promoted to Associate Professor, and in 1991, he was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at a State Teaching Hospital in Istanbul.

Dr. Ege Ozgentas worked as a research associate with Dr. Melvin Spira and Dr. Saleh Shenaq at Baylor College of Medicine’s Division of Plastic Surgery from 1991 to 1993. Dr. Ozgentas founded and became the chairman of the Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department at Akdeniz University Medical School in Antalya, Turkey, in 1993. He retired in 2006 as a full professor of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at this university. He is currently employed as a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Professor at the Private ONEP Medical Center in Istanbul, Turkey.
