Dr. Ali Gurlek is one of the famous doctors in Turkey for his plastic surgery services provided to his patients all over European countries as well as in Turkey.
Dr. Ali Gurlek was born in 1959 in Ankara. He completed his schooling in his birthplace. Started his medical field in 1976 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and got the title of MD in 1983. Specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS) at Ankara Numune Hospital PRS Clinic and his specialty was to develop of the maxilla (face) in patients with cleft lip and palate.
Also worked as a Health Center Physician and completed his military service as a reserve officer in 1987 and became Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist in 1993. He worked in many fields and many departments in Istanbul. Dr. Gurlek also went to the US to gain more professional knowledge and experience and started working at Anderson Cancer Center, Dept. of Plastic Surgery, University of Texas.
After that, he was also appointed as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the same department and continued his studies and research until 1997. Dr. Ali worked as a faculty member at Inonu University and became Asso. Professor – Professor – Head of the Department – Fellowship Program in Aesthetic Surgery at ONEP Plastic Surgery Science Institute and left university in 2008 and went to Istanbul, Medicana International Hospital (work for 6 months).
Then he founded his Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic at Beylikduzu Hospital. In 2009 opened a private practice in Bakirkoy Aesthetic Center, Istanbul. Dr. Gurlek is also a member of many associations (which we will discuss below). And he provides many services and treatments in surgical and non-surgical procedures.
