Dr. Arul Ponni pursued her MBBS and MD Radiotherapy from a reputed Medical College in Bangalore. She underwent IAEA Regional Training Course on Radiation Protection and Safety in Radiotherapy held at Nuclear Training Center at Korea Atomic Energy & Research Institute in Seoul S. Korea. She completed IACA (Indo-American Cancer Association) Fellowship in SBRT Lung at Greenwich Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center New York, USA.

Dr. Arul has authored and co-authored several scientific publications in National and International journals. She is a Life Member of National Chapter AROI (Association of Radiation Oncologists of India).
