Dr. Rajath Athreya
Dr. Rajath Athreya received MD (Pediatrics) from Bangalore Medical College in 2004 and was awarded the Gold Medal in MD examinations for the highest score. He has over 10 years experience in the area of neonatology and pediatrics in the UK. He studied in the Deanery of London working at world-renowned hospitals like King’s College Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital. He was a Neonatologist Consultant at Lewisham University Hospital, one of London ‘s busiest hospitals, and a faculty with London Pediatrics Department. He is an consultant with the UK Resuscitation Agency, and the London Neonatal Transport Service Neonatal Simulation Instructor.
Dr. Rajath Athreya is well versed in all aspects of intensive neonatal care, including therapeutic hypothermia, advanced ventilation methods, serious growth-restricted babies management, and extreme prematurity from 23 weeks of gestation. His fields of special interest include Neonatal Resuscitation, Stabilization, Clinical Education, Neonatal Transport Medicine, Neonatal Endocrinology, and Health & Nursing. He is passionate about enhancing the quality of healthcare and firmly believes in practicing evidence-based medicine while involving parents compassionately in their child care. He also holds a wealth of expertise and experience in all pediatric fields.
