Minimally Invasive Direct Coronary Artery Bypass (MIDCAB) Surgery in Bangladesh
Coronary bypass surgery is a form of heart surgery that improves blood flow to the heart by bypassing a blocked artery. In this procedure, the surgeon takes a healthy blood vessel from another part of the body and attaches it to the start and end of the blockage, allowing blood to flow in a different direction. This new vessel allows blood to circulate around the blocked region, allowing more blood to enter the heart.
Instead of making incisions in the sternum, the surgeon makes incisions between the ribs to reach the heart in Minimally Invasive Direct Coronary Artery Bypass (MIDCAB) Surgery. One or two arteries are bypassed with this procedure.
