Ganglion Cyst Removal in Bangladesh
A ganglion cyst is a noncancerous fluid-filled lump that typically appears in the wrist or side. However, some of them happen in the ankles or feet.
It can be uncomfortable when a ganglion cyst presses on a nerve. A ganglion cyst can also limit movement depending on its location.
The removal of a ganglion cyst may be done under local or general anaesthesia.
Your doctor may draw a line above the cyst to indicate where the incision will be made before surgery. During the procedure, the doctor numbs the treatment area and uses a scalpel to cut down the line. The cyst is then identified and cut out, along with the cyst’s capsule or stalk. Your doctor will stitch the opening to allow the skin to heal after the cyst has been removed.
