Dr Bhaskar B.V graduated from a prestigious medical college in Mysore and completed his M.S (General Surgery) from AIMS, Mandya. He then pursued super specialty in Cardiothoracic & Vascular surgery. He is presently working as a consultant, cardiothoracic surgeon at BGS Global Hospitals.
Dr Bhaskar has experience in beating heart CABG, complex congenital cardiac surgery, mitral & aortic valve repairs, aortic root replacements, aortic Aneurysm repairs & minimal invasive cardiac surgeries, surgery. He has also performed decortications, lobectomies, pneumonectomies and other thoracic surgeries. He has many years of experience in minimal invasive cardiac surgery & hybrid procedures. He has experience of more than 5000 Heart surgeries.
Dr Bhaskar’s interest lies in minimal invasive cardiac surgery- multi vessel CABG, MV repairs, aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repairs, hybrid procedures, heart transplants & VADS and total arterial revascularization
