Dr Ravindranath Reddy D R is Alumnus of Bangalore Medical College and did his MD (Internal Medicine)from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He completed his super specialty training DM Cardiology from the prestigious Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, one of the largest Cardiology Institutes in Asia.

He worked as assistant professor, cardiology in the same Institute for 3 years and also involved in the postgraduate training program of DM cardiology. Later he moved to BGS Global Hospitals to start and establish cardiology department in October 2007 and continuing as chief of cardiology.

He has more than 15 years of experience in interventional cardiology. He is running a very successful primary PTCA and stenting program for patients with heart attack ever since he joined the BGS Gleneagles Global Hospitals. He has a special interest in promoting coronary interventions through radial artery approach (wrist approach). He has vast experience in cardiac interventions and performed more than 10000 procedures. He is also actively involved in heart failure management and heart transplant program. He is passionate about and committed to providing the best services for patients who present with an acute heart attack and save a life.
