Bone Tumor Removal in Bangladesh
Bone tumours form when cells inside a bone divide out of control, resulting in a lump or mass of abnormal tissue.
The majority of bone tumours are harmless (not cancerous). Benign tumours are normally not life-threatening and do not spread to other areas of the body in the majority of cases. Treatment choices vary depending on the type of tumour, ranging from basic observation to surgical removal.
The following are the four most common forms of primary bone cancer:
Multiple myeloma is a type of cancer that affects the blood cells. The most common primary bone cancer is multiple myeloma. It’s a cancerous tumour of the bone marrow, the soft tissue that contains blood cells in the middle of several bones.
Osteosarcoma is a form of bone cancer. The second most common primary bone cancer is osteosarcoma. Every year, it affects two to five people per million, with the majority of cases affecting adolescents and infants.
Ewing’s sarcoma is a form of cancer. Patients with Ewing’s sarcoma are normally between the ages of 5 and 20. The upper and lower leg, pelvis, upper arm, and ribs are the most commonly affected areas.
Chondrosarcoma is a form of cancer. Chondrosarcoma is a cancerous tumour made up of cells that produce cartilage. Patients between the ages of 40 and 70 are the most often affected. The majority of cases occur in the hip, pelvis, or shoulder region. Surgery is the only cure for chondrosarcoma in the majority of cases.
