Cervical Disc Replacement in Bangladesh
Total disc arthroplasty, or artificial disc replacement, also called as cervical disc replacement surgery. A damaged cervical disc is removed and replaced with a metal or silicone prosthetic in this procedure.
Surgeons begin by cutting a slit in the side of the neck and carefully removing any tissue. The damaged disc, as well as any bone spurs, are removed. The prosthetic is then implanted and the incision is closed.
After a cervical disc replacement, you can return to work and light exercise in two to four weeks. It’s possible that you’ll have to wait six to eight weeks before engaging in more strenuous exercise.
