Endopyelotomy Surgery in Bangladesh
Endopyelotomy is an endoscopic procedure that enlarges the junction of the renal pelvis and the ureter, making urine transport from the kidney to the bladder easier.
The following are the reasons for performing an endopyelotomy:
Obstruction of the ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) (congenital condition)
Obstruction by the UPJ (acquired by renal stones or previous surgeries)
UPJ obstruction recurs after another procedure, such as open or laparoscopic pyeloplasty.
