Endoscopy in Bangladesh
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive technique in which a doctor inserts an endoscope, which is a tube with a camera and/or light connected to one end, into a portion of the patient’s body to examine internal structures. Endoscopy patients have typically identified a problem with their digestive tracts that their physicians want to investigate. Upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and other procedures can all be performed with an endoscope. In certain cases, the doctor can also take tissue samples or perform minor procedures to remove irregular growths in addition to the endoscopy.
