Hydrocele Testis in Bangladesh
A hydrocele is a scrotal swelling caused by fluid collecting in the thin sheath that surrounds a testicle. Hydrocele is typical in newborns and normally goes away on its own by the age of one. A hydrocele may grow in older boys and adult men as a result of scrotal inflammation or injury.
Observation to see if the hydrocele resolves on its own is one option for treatment, but if the condition does not improve or worsens, surgical removal is another. The doctor will simply extract the hydrocele from the patient’s scrotum during this procedure.
