RIRS Surgery in Bangladesh
RIRS (retrograde intrarenal surgery): Retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) is a procedure that involves performing surgery on the kidney using a fiberoptic endoscope as a viewing tube.
The scope is inserted into the bladder through the urethra (urinary opening) and then into the urine-collecting portion of the kidney through the ureter. As a result, the scope is shifted backwards (up the urinary tract system) to the kidney (intrarenal).
