Trans Urethral Resection of Bladder Tumor in Bangladesh
The bladder’s transurethral resection (TUR) is a surgical procedure that is used to diagnose and remove cancerous tissue from the bladder. A TURBT is another name for this technique (transurethral resection for bladder tumor). Anesthesia, either general or spinal, is often used. A cystoscope is inserted into the bladder via the urethra during TUR surgery. A resectoscope is used to extract the cancer for biopsy and to burn away any cancer cells that remain.
