Ureteropelvic Junction – UPJ in Bangladesh
A blockage at the point where the ureter connects to the kidney is known as ureteropelvic junction obstruction. This causes a drop in urine flow down the ureter, which raises the fluid pressure within the kidney. Kidney function deteriorates as the pressure within the kidney rises. The obstruction may be congenital (meaning the patient was born with it) or grow over time as a result of age or body shape issues. Depending on your health and medical background, your doctor will recommend the right care plan for you.
