Dr. Fazil Apaydin was born in Izmir in 1961. He is specialized in ENT, Dept. of Otorhinolaryngology from Ege university. Presently, he is working as a professor in the Dept. of Otorhinolaryngology at Ege University, and besides that, he attends to his patients in his private clinic. He has learned Rhinoplasty and Facial Plastic Surgery from Eugene Tardy and Dean Toriumi (Both of them are masters in Rhinoplasty and Facial Plastic Surgery).

Dr. Apaydin created a computer program for Rhinoplasty, it is being called Rhinobase. Rhinobase, a database program to keep records, an automated facial analysis tool, and a picture archiving utility. In 2005, he was announced as honorary faculty of the Facial Plastic Surgery, Dept. of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Head and Neck Surgery (HNS) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since 2001, he has been organizing many national and international meetings for rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery. He used to travel to many countries for an educational meeting on rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery.

Doctor Apaydin passed the board certification examination in Facial Plastic Surgery in Washington by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery. He was also the first Turkish Surgeon who succeed in this exam. Also been a European Board member of the Turkish Society of Facial Plastic Surgery.
