These are the first specialized liver and biliary surgery operating suites in India.

256 slice CT scan

With this cutting-edge non-invasive imaging method, the liver and other organs can be completely visualized in three dimensions in as little as five seconds.

3.0 Tesla MRI

For medical disorders affecting several organs and bodily systems, the visual quality of this technology is especially helpful.

Virtual liver surgery lab – 3D Myrian CT software

FDG-18 PET scan

The whole-body scan shows the degree and spread of liver and biliary cancer, allowing for improved surgical planning and preventing unnecessary surgery in patients with advanced disease.

Liver Transplant

A healthy liver is substituted for a diseased liver during a liver transplant. The surgery is typically required when the liver functions have sustained damage that cannot be repaired. A portion of a living donor’s liver is taken during a living donor transplant operation and subsequently implanted in the recipient.

Liver Surgery

The most frequent liver surgery, known as resection, involves removing a portion of the liver. Liver surgery includes surgeries of the liver for a variety of illnesses. The surgery takes 3–4 hours to execute, and full recovery takes 5–6 weeks.

Biliary Surgery

The common bile duct, which joins the liver to the digestive system, will be operated on in this procedure. Bile is transported by the bile duct, where it breaks up dietary lipids so that the body may absorb them. You might need biliary surgery if a gallstone or a tumor, for example, is blocking the liver’s normal flow of bile.

Interventional Radiology Procedures

For the treatment of liver tumors, interventional radiology is used. It refers to the use of radiological imaging guidance, such as an X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, or MRI, to precisely target treatment. A needle is first inserted into the target area during an interventional radiology procedure. It is also known as pinhole surgery.
