Dr. Gurneet Singh Sawhney

Dr. Gurneet Singh Sawhney is a well-known Neurosurgeon with experience of over 14+ years.

He is proficient in performing complex Neurosurgeries and providing Neurotrauma treatments which include Brain Surgery, Brain Tumor Surgery, Spine Surgery, Epilepsy Surgery, Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery (DBS), Vascular Neurosurgery, AVM Surgery, Aneurysm, Parkinson’s Treatment and Seizure Treatment.

He is specially trained in carrying out Simple and Complex Spine Surgery including CVJ and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Endoscopic Pituitary Surgery and Neuro-Oncology.

After graduating with MBBS from Terna Medical College, Navi Mumbai under Maharashtra Health Sciences in 2004, he pursued MS in General Surgery in St. John’s Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, in 2010. Later he did MCh in Neurosurgery from the same college in 2014. He also did a Fellowship in Neuroendoscopy in 2017 and Hands on Training in MISS.

Awarded as the “Most Promising Neurosurgeon in Maharashtra – 2016“by Times Group for eminent work in rural India. After achieving 1st Position in MCh Neurosurgery University Examination, I worked as an Assistant Professor in my parent institute for 2 years. Following which, I worked as a consultant and head of neurosurgery department in a high-volume trust hospital, handling complex neurosurgical and spinal cases single handedly for 18 months. Presently, I am working as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in leading corporate hospital in Mumbai.
