Since four decades, there has been lot of progress in the neurosurgery field in India. Because if you look at the current scenario, you can say that even in the best hospitals in India neurosurgery was very ancient when it started. But as years passed, new technologies emerged which aims to lessen the damage to the brain hence not affecting the patient’s quality of life. We are convinced that Dr. Mahesh Chaudhari also played a major role in establishing his department and neurology programs in India. His main emphasis is that when a patient goes back, his disease should be stable allowing him to be as functional as possible.

It is true that the evolving technologies in this field have also played an important factor in helping the doctors diagnose and treat the patient effectively. But you must not forget that that the technology is just a tool and cannot be the master of the clinician. The experience and the expertise a doctor brings cannot be replaced by a technology. And, we cannot entirely rely on it.

Thus, every single treatment done by Dr. Mahesh Chaudhari is according to a standard protocol and guidelines. He believes that following a protocol can reduce error during any surgery or a treatment. The most important situation a doctor has to face is communication with his patients and their family. In a multicultural era such as today, being multilingual especially in the field of medicine gives you the power to overcome communication barrier. Coming to the point, Dr. Mahesh Chaudhari can speak English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and Japanese. This only goes to show that apart from proving care he can easily tackle communication barrier that often arises among patient and his physician.
