Dr Santoshkumar is a renowned Consultant Orthopedic surgeon who has gathered years of rich experience by performing Lower Limb Arthroplasty and Soft Tissue Knee Surgeries. He is known nationally and internationally for his work on rapid rehabilitation of joint replacements.
He did his MBBS from the J. J. M. Medical College, Davangere and MS (Ortho) from the MAHE University, Manipal. He went to England for higher surgical training in Orthopedics. He completed MRCS and CCBST from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He worked in many University teaching hospitals across UK, completed higher surgical training (CCT) and FRCS (Tr & Orth) from Royal College of Surgeons England. He worked as a consultant at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals, UK. He spent 12 years in UK practicing joint replacement and arthroscopic knee surgeries. He has done BOA fellowship in Lower Limb Arthroplasty at UHCW Coventry and Knee Fellowship in Soft tissue reconstructions from the York Teaching Hospitals, NHS Trust.
Dr Santoshkumar was awarded 1st Prize for The Best Oral Presentation at the 34th SICOT Meeting, 1st Prize for Orthopaedic Knowledge at the BOTA meeting conducted in UK. He has given numerous National and International Presentations on joint replacement surgery, rapid rehabilitation, blood conserving methods in Joint replacement surgery and revision joint replacements.
