Dr Dipit Sahu is a Consultant Shoulder Surgeon at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After his MBBS and MS (Orthopaedics), Dr Sahu pursued the following fellowships: Shoulder Reconstruction, Alps Surgery Institute, Annecy, France; Shoulder Reconstruction, Centre Orthopaedics Santy, Lyon, France; Adult Reconstruction, University Arkansas, USA; Elbow Research, Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, USA; Arthroscopy, EWHA University, Seoul, South Korea.
He specialises in Shoulder Orthopaedics and is officially a Research Collaborator in Mayo Clinic, USA. He is the only Asian who has been trained in Shoulder Surgery for more than one year in Alps Surgery Institute, France with Dr Laurent Lafosse. He also trained with Dr Giles Walch (France) who is a pioneer in Total Anatomic and Reverse Shoulder Replacement.
Dr Sahu has published several articles in reputed journals as well as book chapters in International books on Arthroscopic Latarjet procedure. He has also published a new Arthroscopic Shoulder sign in a leading international journal. Furthermore, he has made presentations in AAOS annual US Orthopaedics Congress, presented a paper in French at Annual French Arthroscopy Society meet in Paris, France (2011), as well as poster presentations in the annual congress of ORS (Orthopaedics Research Society, USA).
