Dr. Alper Tuncel
Dr. Alper TUNCEL was born on August 13, 1972 in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from Ankara Private Yükseliş College in 1990, one of the city’s first private educational institutions. He finished his undergraduate study at Istanbul University’s Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1997, which he desired and preferred. Op. Dr. Alper TUNCEL completed his master’s degree in Marmara University Faculty of Medicine Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialization in 2004. He has set his goal to specialize in Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which is the surgical branch he sees the most since joining the faculty. Dr. Alper TUNCEL, after working actively for a long time with Dr. Yaremchuk, one of the maxillofacial surgeons of Boston MGH (Mass. General Hospital) and Harvard Medical School, which is also the hospital where he was born at the end of his 6-year specialization, worked as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Assistant at the same university between 1998 and 2004. He declined the opportunity to stay and returned to Turkey with the goal of passing on the information and expertise he had received to his patients in his own country.
After realizing that the best and most effective system for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons is a freelance working environment, he left two private hospitals where he had worked for three years and began his independent career.
Op.Dr.Alper TUNCEL, who speaks English and German at an intermediate level, is also well-known for his academic and scientific writings both at home and abroad. His thesis, Investigation of Venous Components in Neovascularization Penetrating Scar Tissue, Experimental Study (Istanbul, 2004), was published and cited.
He has given talks at conferences, attended seminars as an instructor, and published articles on a variety of themes. Our doctor is continually improving as a result of the auxiliary training he receives.
