Dr. Aydin Gozu
Dr. Aydin Gozu has 31 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery and is considered to be the best and well experienced surgeon of Istanbul. He was born in the city of Antioch. In Samsun Anatolian High School, he completed his basic and secondary studies. He received his graduation medical degree from Hacettepe University. He began his training as an Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery after passing the TUS exam. During his training at the Sisli Etfal Pediatric Education and Research Hospital from 1992 to 1998, he gained extensive knowledge in the field of repair and hand microsurgery.
In 1997, he went to François Rabelais University School of Medicine in Tours, France, to proceed his training in maxillofacial surgery and Paris for aesthetic plastic surgery training under Dr. B. Cornette de St Cyr. His experience includes craniofacial surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine and plastic and reconstructive surgery in the United States of America under Prof. Ecmel Songür.
Under clinical director Prof. Dr. Zafer zsoy, he worked in the Foundation Gureba Hospital , Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic as Chief Assistant from 1999 to 2010.During this time, he pursued his scholarly and scientific pursuits. In 2003, he honed his plastic surgery skills at Virginia Hospital in Arlington (Washington, DC), where he worked with Dr. Talal Munasifi in Georgetown University.He has been serving from his own clinic since 2011.
