Dr. Bulent Cigsar completed his high school from Tarsus American College. He is a well experienced and skillful plastic surgeon of Istanbul. In 1999, he graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. For residency training in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery he went to Ankara Training and Research Hospital in 2000. 

In 2005, he became a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist. During his residency training he also applied for ECFMG Exams and cleared it. This exam is also known as US Medical Specialization Exam, which allowed his to work at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, USA. During his residency, he worked in the field of breast reconstruction after breast cancer with microsurgery at Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden.

Following his specialist training, he worked in the field of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Kars State Hospital, Private Istanbul Medipol University, and Ataşehir Memorial Hospital for a short time under the Ministry of Health in the Pakistan Kashmir earthquake zone. In his private practice, he continues his professional studies.
