Dr. Cengiz Acikel is a popular plastic surgeon of Istanbul, Turkey. He has his patients coming from many different places because of his 25 years of experience in plastic surgeries. He completed his medical graduation degree from GATA Medical Faculty in 1988 and residency specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department from GATA Aesthetics in 1997. Then he was offered working in GATA Haydarpaşa Training as specialist and assistant professor. In 2005 he was promoted as associate professor in same hospital.

Dr. Acikel also worked internationally, as a research assistant during 2002-03 at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, USA. He worked as a faculty member at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine from 2009. Then for 2 years from 2012 to 2014 he worked as a professor in same university. Since then he is working as freelance physician at his place in Batı Ataşehir.
