Dr. Evrim Uckunkaya Portner was born in Istanbul in 1978, and received her elementary education in Yeşilköy, as well as secondary and high school education in F.M.V. She received her diploma from Nişantaş Işk High School. She earned her medical doctorate from Yeditepe University’s Faculty of Medicine in 2002.

Dr. Med. Eduardo A. Salvati, then Professor at the German Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, worked at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Orthopedics and Rhematology Clinic in New York in 2001. She worked as an intern for Mustafa Bahçeci. Dr. Professor at Lütfi Krdar Training and Research Hospital from 2003 to 2004. Med. Tayfun Aköz was her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery internship supervisor.

She studied at the Praxisklinik Haubrichforum in Cologne, Germany, from 2004 to 2006. Between 2006 and 2009, she worked in Dreifaltigkeits Hospital in Cologne, Germany, with Dr. Med. Winfried Gutbrod and Dr. Med. Savaş Uçkunkaya in the field of General Surgery / Plastic Surgery. Med. Along with Dirk F. Richter, she worked in the field of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. During this time, he concentrated on post bariatric surgical training and research. In Germany, America, and other European capitals, she performed post bariatric procedures.

In 2010, she finished her residency and became a Plastic Surgery Specialist. Between 2010 to 2014, she worked in St. Agatha Hospital in Cologne, Germany. Alongside Ulrich Fabian, she worked as a Senior Assistant in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Microsurgery and Hand Surgery.

Dr. Evrim Uçkunkaya returned to Turkey on March 17, 2014 to pursue her training as a Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist at Maslak Acbadem Hospital’s Serdar Eren Health and Aesthetics Center. She then worked as a Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist at Ageless Clinic Turkey, Istanbul Surgery Hospital, from May 1, 2015 to November 6, 2015.

Since November 6, 2015, Op.Dr. Evrim Uçkunkaya has been working in her own clinic on Nişantaş Valikona Caddesi.
