Dr. Kamran Efendioglu
Dr. Kamran Efendioglu is a popular and world famous plastic surgeon, with experience of more than 17 years in expertise. He was born in Baku, as he was a bright student and was excellent in studies from childhood, he received his high school studies under scholarship. He went on to choose medical as profession and studied English Medicine at Hacettepe University’s Faculty of Medicine and completed it in 2004. With no gap he went on to study specialization in the Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. For 2 years he fulfilled his duty in the military.
He has always adopted the notion of continual professional improvement from his university years, and he has been educated in several domestic and international centres for this aim.
He completed his internship at the Md Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, in 2003. In Tokyo, Japan, he studied at Showa University Plastic Surgery Clinic, which is one of the world’s leading cleft lip and palate centres. During his specialized years, he conducted an observer-ship at Baylor School of Medicine’s Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Houston, Texas.
He passed the European Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) examinations and received the European Union Competency Certificate during his mandatory duty.
With a course he did at the University of Zurich’s Department of Plastic Surgery in Switzerland, he acquired a microsurgery certificate. During his specialization, he also received credentials in basic maxillofacial surgery and FUE hair transplantation. With countless medical articles, he has contributed to the national and international medical literature.
Dr. Kamran Efendiolu attends national and international gatherings in the field of Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery and contributes with presentations. Since 2018, he has co-owned a Plastic Surgery Clinic with Dr. Hakan Gence.
