Dr. Selahattin Tulunay
Dr. Selahattin Tulunay is a well experienced plastic surgeon in Istanbul with more than 33 years of experience. In 1973, he completed his schooling from Eehremini High School and began his medical studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1974. He received his Medical Doctorate in 1981 and began working as an assistant in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1982.
Dr. Selahattin Tulunay began his military career in Ankara GATA (Gülhane Military Medicine Academy) in 1988, after becoming a specialist in 1987. He finished his military duty at Gata Burn Centre, which he considers to be his second place of education as an assistant.
In late 1988, he began working as a chief assistant in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic of işli Etfal Hospital as an instructor. Dr. Tulunay was promoted to Consultant of Bahat Health Group and Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department of four different hospitals owned by Bahat Health Group in 2006 after continuing his studies in other private hospitals and serving as a chief physician in a private hospital for seven years. He became the head of his own clinic in 2012, after many years of committed service in the field of plastic surgery.
He has membership of many associations such as Turkish Medical Association and Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association. He was awarded for “The Best Plastic Surgeon of The Year” in 2012 and 2 times for t “The Best Hair Transplant Specialist” of the year held in 2014 and 2015.
