I recently had the misfortune of visiting the so-called “Best Clinic Istanbul,” specifically under the care of Dr. Taha Sonmez, and it was an absolute disaster. Originally I had booked in with them for a chin liposuction which I couldn’t proceed with, however I still wanted to use the deposit I had pre-paid. I went in for a simple masseter Botox procedure, and the results were catastrophic. I can no longer talk, smile, or eat the same way I used to. It’s clear that if they can’t even perform Botox correctly, there’s no way they can handle more complex surgeries.

To make matters worse, the clinic has refused to give me a refund for their botched job. Their lack of accountability is appalling. Adding to my distress, I’ve recently discovered that there have been actual deaths associated with Dr. Sonmez’s practice. This place is a nightmare, and I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away from the Best Clinic Istanbul and Dr. Taha Sonmez. Your health and safety are at risk.

The hospital itself was far from the standards of a typical Turkish private hospital. The staff who accompanied me didn’t know what she was doing or anything about the procedure when I asked questions. The entire process took less than 15 minutes from the moment Dr. Taha walked into the consultation room to the moment he left after the procedure. He didn’t explain what product he used, the amount of units, or the aftercare. It seemed like he couldn’t care less about being there. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable and dangerous.

To top it all off, after I experienced these complications, they have now stopped replying to my messages. Avoid this place at all costs.

Opting for a facelift with Dr. Taha Sonmez left me feeling disillusioned and regretful primarily due to the exorbitant prices charged for the procedure, which ultimately did not justify the results. Despite the initial consultation being promising, the final outcome fell short of my expectations, leaving me dissatisfied with both the outcome and the financial investment. Additionally, the post-operative care was lacking, with minimal support or guidance provided during the difficult recovery process, further compounding my dissatisfaction. Overall, the combination of high prices and subpar results has left me feeling disappointed, and I would advise others to explore more cost-effective options without compromising on quality.
