Singapore Medical Visa from Bangladesh

The Consulate of the Republic of Singapore in Dhaka processes visa applications for Bangladeshi Nationals and other foreigners who require a social visa to enter Singapore.

Visitors holding ordinary Bangladeshi passports will need to apply for an entry visa prior to their arrival in Singapore. Holders of Bangladeshi Diplomatic and Official passports are exempted from visa requirements.

Each application for a visa will be considered on its own merits. A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid Singapore visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry. Possession of a valid visa alone does not guarantee entry into Singapore.

Singapore Entry for Medical Tourists

A holder of a valid Singapore visa who is found suitable for entry into Singapore will be issued with an immigration pass to enter and remain in Singapore. You are advised to check your passport for the arrival visit pass endorsement when in Singapore and take note of the period of stay granted before leaving the checkpoint. The period of stay granted is shown on the visit pass endorsement given on your passport and it is not tied to the validity of your visa.

The granting of visit passes to visitors is determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry. Visitors must satisfy the following basic entry requirements before they can be considered for entry into Singapore:

  1. A passport with at least 6 months validity
  2. Valid Singapore visa, if applicable (refer to the Visa Requirements page for more information)
  3. Sufficient funds to last for the intended period of stay in Singapore
  4. Confirmed onward/return tickets (where applicable)
  5. Entry facilities to their onward destinations, e.g. visas.
  6. Completed Disembarkation/Embarkation Card
  7. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, if applicable

The period of stay granted is shown on the visit pass endorsement given on the visitor’s passport. Visitors are advised to check their passports for the arrival endorsement and take note of the number of days stay given before leaving the checkpoint.

All visitors on visit passes are not permitted to engage in any form of business, profession, occupation or paid employment while in Singapore.

Visitors are also reminded that it is a punishable offence to overstay in Singapore beyond the number of days given. If there is a need to stay beyond the period granted, visitors may apply for an extension of stay online via e-XTEND or at the Visitors Services Centre, 4th storey, ICA Building, before the visit pass expires. Application for extension of stay is subject to approval.
