TrueBeam Radiotherapy
TrueBeam Radiotherapy provides image-guided stereotactic radiosurgery and radiotherapy with high precision to treat tumours and lesions in various parts of the body, including lungs, breasts, head, and neck.
The TrueBeam system’s accuracy is calculated in measurements of less than one millimetre. This precision is made possible by the advanced architecture of the device, which synchronizes visualization, patient orientation, motion control, beam shaping and dose distribution, conducting accuracy tests every ten milliseconds during the entire procedure.
TrueBeam radiotherapy program allows patients recover in fewer sessions including one to five for a patient compared to 20 to 40 traditional radiation therapy sessions (depending on the type of tumour). Shorter sessions reduce patients chance of side effects.
