Esophageal Reconstruction Surgery in Turkey
The esophagus is the tiny cord that connects your mouth to your stomach. If your doctor recommends treating your cancer with esophageal surgery , your doctor may remove all or part of your esophagus. The size and location of the tumor determines how much the doctor can take out of the esophagus. The doctor may remove some of the upper stomach during surgery if the esophageal cancer is near the stomach.
Immediately after surgery on the esophageal cancer, you will receive food via a feeding tube that is directly connected to your intestine. That will give your body time to heal. A small piece of intestine at the outside of the chest may be used temporarily to monitor blood flow through the transplanted intestine after vascular microsurgery.
When healing is complete:
This will replace the external intestinal graft used to track the healing.
They will remove the feeding tube.
You should have food and drink it.
