Senning Repair Surgery
Senning Repair the surgeon produces a double-way baffle at the top of the neck. The baffle acts as a bridge between the heart’s two sides. For a Senning operation, the surgeon builds the baffle using the patient’s own tissue. A synthetic material is used in the Mustard Process. Both are called “atrial transfer operations” because in the upper part of the heart there is a baffle, or atria.
