CABG + AV Repair Repair Surgery
Coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) is for treating disease of the coronary arteries. Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the narrowing of the coronary arteries-the blood vessels that supply the heart muscle with oxygen and nutrients. CAD is caused by an accumulation of fatty material within the artery walls.
The aortic valve is situated on the heart’s left side and acts as an outflow valve. Its role is to allow blood to escape the left ventricle, the main pumping chamber in the heart. His job is to close so blood does not spill back into the left ventricle, too. If you have a congenital defect or a disorder that induces stenosis or regurgitation, you can need surgery on your aortic valve.
Some patients need CABG + AV Repair Both.
