Laser TURP Surgery
Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) is a surgery used to treat urinary problems that are caused by an enlarged prostate.
TURP is usually seen as an alternative for men with mild to serious urinary problems who have not responded to the drug. While TURP has been considered the most effective treatment for an enlarged prostate, many other, minimally invasive procedures are becoming more effective. By general, these techniques cause less problems and have a shorter recovery time than TURP.
