Hand Joints Synovectomy in Turkey
A synovectomy is a surgical procedure used to treat synovitis and some other conditions that affect the synovium, a thin membrane that lines the inside of certain joints (called “synovial joints”), such as your knee, shoulder or elbow. In a synovectomy procedure, much of the synovium is removed. In this procedure, the doctor will use an arthroscope (tube with camera/light) to examine the area and then remove the inflamed tissue.
This surgery is usually performed on patients that are experiencing pain due to arthritis and inflammation.
